Slam at Juna's 1-7-05

Emme from team Ithaca 1999 came. Summer and Al came, and Sarah. Jane Cassady who runs a poetry show in Syracuse came with her partner Amy. Joey Gates (Diana) was there, as were Govind, Charlotte, Guy and Marie, Livers and Paige, Michael Burns and **Harriet** from team Ithaca 2002, the "most admirable team" at the Rust Belt Regionals.

Jane, Amy, Joey, Allen, Emme, and Michael Burns read at the open mic.

Andy, Ben, Emme, and Allen slammed, Ben won. Allen came in second. Then Emme. Summer and Joey kept score.

Afterwards we went to Al's and talked poetry.
