Mina did the door and emceed the slam. At the open mic were Wyatt, Michael, Aubryn, Jeni, Andy, Patrick, and others.
Kate, Jeni, Patrick, Emme, Matt, and Andy slammed. Kate took the first round, then Andy and Patrick. Patrick won the second round, then Jeni and Matt. Andy won the third round, then Jeni and Matt. The winner was Patrick. Jeni came in 2nd. Matt won the people's choice. Andy and Kate also made the team. Emme is the alternate. The three highest scoring poems of the night were Patrick's "Rage," Andy's "McDonald's," and Jeni's "Mango."
