So, another great night, thanks to our features, Mollie Angleheart and Natalie Patterson from LA, and also Zoe Dimitri from SLC, with (our own) Kate; and our illustrious open mic'er, Ryan, Yoni (did her famous drunk poem), Oliver, Andy (moi) (did random murmurings about Texas and Rita Hayworth), Bari Berger (Go, Bari!), Amanda (Awesome Amanda brought people to their feet), and Angad. Far out!
Then the slam. Mina mc'd. Alex kept score. Andrew sacrificed. The slammers were Kate, Zoe, Andy (did "Sharing a Mango in Shiprock" and "One Cosmic Question"), Colin, and Kietha. Kate and Zoe tied for first. Colin came in second.
Kimari came. So did Theresa (aka Rita), Bill and partner, Robert, Kate's parents, some of Molly's friends, and lots of other poetry supporters and lovers.
