4/6 Juna's Slam:
The open mic was wonderful. The poets were Ryan, Joy, Victoria, Margaret, Emily, Andy, and Rich.
Angel featured. He was great.
Mina emceed the slam. Angel kept score. Thank you, Angel. The slammers were: Kristin, Richard, Andy and Emily. Nate did the calibration poem. Richard took the first round. I did "Big Sugar Moon."
Emily took the second round. I did "Vincent Delicious." The winner was Emily. Richard came in second.
The audience was excellent. Some of my friends came, including Kimari, Mike, Della and Tom, John and Joan, Kathryn, and my already
mentioned poet friends.
