Michael Brown was a wonderful feature. He hung out afterwards with us and discussed poetry until late into the night.
The open mic was excellent. Zoe, Summer, Meg, Emily, Jessie, and Carl read. The slam was great. Zoe won, then Andy, then Emily, and Denis. Zoe and Emily qualified, because Andy had already qualified. Greg sacrificed. Michael Brown emceed.
So, it was another great night at Juna's. Some of my friends came by, including Edie, Kimari, Summer, and other poet friends.
