5/10 Team Ithaca Grand Slam:
Mina (pictured left) was our host.
The wonderful Jane Cassady featured.
The open mic was fantastic. Eric, Andy, Pima, Summer, Shannon, Ralph, Emily, Clara , and others read.
The grand-slam qualified slammers were: Andy, Emily, Jane, and Shannon. Another slammmer, Eric Darby joined for fun and won. Mina emceed. Summer did the calibration poem. Amy and Bob kept score.
The winners were Eric, Andy, Shannon, Jane, and Emily. Jane was the people's choice. The team will be Andy, Shannon, Jane, and Emily.
The audience was great. Some of my friends came, including Dawn & Bob, Kelly & Mike, Elizabeth, Shawn, and lots more, besides our already mentioned poet and helping friends.
